Shia institution in Melbourne expands its religious activities to serve the community

The Australian Shia Forum has announced that it has completed the transfer of ownership of the building adjacent to the Ahlulbayt Mosque in Melbourne, in order to expand its activities for the benefit of the followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the country.
The institution said in a statement, which was made available to Shia Waves, that it “recently succeeded in transferring the ownership of the building adjacent to the Ahlulbayt Mosque, to be added to the properties of the Shia community in Melbourne.”
The statement added that “the mosque was registered in the name of the Australian Shia Forum, to expand the blessed mosque and open it to the Shia community in Melbourne to hold their sacred rituals.”
The statement indicated that “the mosque and the new building will be the public property of the Shia community in the city, as it was purchased through the donations of philanthropists of the community.”
The Australian Shia Forum thanked lawyer Tariq Al-Amin, who “voluntarily carried out the task of transferring the ownership of the new building, and made great efforts to avoid some legal obstacles that nearly delayed the task for a longer period,” according to the institution’s statement.
