Bahrainis commemorate the Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him

Hundreds of Ahlulbayt followers roamed the cities of Bahrain in a mourning procession to commemorate the Arbaeen anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Videos circulated by bloggers and activists in Bahrain showed gatherings of men, youth, and children walking around their Husseiniyahs, because they were prevented from walking in public.
Despite the restrictions imposed on the participants in the Husseini mourning, the Shias were keen to commemorate the Arbaeen.
The mourners affirmed that they “will never give up on reviving the occasions of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and invoking the teachings of their divine school and their true principles that call for peace, freedom, and life with dignity.”
