Website launched to register complaints of Islamophobia and hate in Germany

Germany has witnessed the launch of a website to register victims of racist attacks with all their complaints about Islamophobia and hatred.
Media sources reported that Muslims in Germany suffer from acts of hate, whether in the search for housing or at work, and they also suffer from racism and receive messages of threat by extremist racists.
They added that a website was launched that allows victims of Islamophobia and hate crimes to register their complaints against those who practice hatred against them. The website’s address is “iReport” and aims to confront racism against Muslims.
According to a 2020 statistic of the German Ministry of the Interior, 1026 crimes against Muslims are recorded annually, motivated by Islamophobia, and the ministry’s experts estimate that the number of unregistered crimes exceeds that.
Rima Hanano, director of the Institute for Unity Against Islamophobia and Anti-Muslims, said that racism in Germany is not a simple problem, but rather the daily suffering of some Muslims that causes them a lot of harm.
She added, that victims of Islamophobia can now register complaints on the iReport website, so that the complaint will be studied by advisors to protect the victims and provide them with support.
