Taliban claim Afghan bomb that ‘killed 14’
The Taliban terrorists have claimed responsibility for a powerful car bomb at a military base in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province that killed at least 14 soldiers.
The explosion, in the Sherzad district on Saturday morning, also wounded four others, according to local councillor Ajmal Omar.
A spokesman for the Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid, said 50 soldiers were among the dead and wounded.
The Taliban and ISIS terrorists are active in the province and occasionally stage attacks on security forces.
