A fire broke out in a Quran memorization center in southeastern Turkey.
According to reports, it took place in the city of Diyarbakir, a large city of predominantly Kurdish population situated on the banks of the Tigris River.
Six Quran learners lost their life in the tragic event, the reports said.
Three others who were injured in the incident were transferred to a nearby hospital.
There has been no word about what caused the fire.
