Various groups of Muslims and Christians have called on the Nigerian government to reopen mosques and churches.

This came during a poll conducted by the Nigerian newspaper, “Vanguard”, where it interviewed representatives of various social groups, all of whom affirmed the demand to reopen places of worship.

Islamic and Christian places of worship have been closed to curb the spread of the Coronavirus.

After a decrease in infection rates, businesses have returned to their normal activities, which led people to call for the reopening of mosques and churches.

Nigerian Christian, Powell Mshot, said that places of worship are no less important than businesses, and they should be reopened with adherence to health guidelines.
