Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called for intensified efforts to introduce people around the world to the life, teachings and noble objectives of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

Emphasising the religious and humanitarian responsibility of spreading awareness about her personality, the religious authority said that her luminous biography remains obscured by ignorance and a lack of knowledge in today’s world.

“Our responsibility requires us to rise to this task, raise public awareness and convey her lofty objectives to the peoples of the world,” he stated.

The call highlights the importance of religious, cultural and media institutions in presenting Lady Fatima al-Zahra’s (peace be upon her) status in Islam and the values reflected in her life, including faith, justice, human dignity and steadfastness in defending principles.

It also stresses the need to expand educational and media initiatives to make her life, teachings and positions better known to contemporary generations worldwide, as part of the broader responsibility to promote the knowledge and teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
