Lebanon Death Toll Rises After New Israeli Attacks
——————————————
Lebanon’s Health Ministry says the death toll from Israeli attacks has risen to 3,783, with 11,699 others wounded, after 27 people were killed and 67 injured in the latest 24-hour reporting period.
In a statement issued on Sunday, June 14, the ministry said Israeli attacks continued to cause civilian casualties despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to contain the fighting.
The latest figures come amid persistent security tensions in several parts of Lebanon and a fragile ceasefire framework that has repeatedly failed to stop violence on the ground.
International reporting has separately confirmed that nearly 3,800 people have been killed and around 1.2 million displaced since Israel’s offensive in Lebanon began on March 2.
Recent days have seen further escalation followed by a partial easing of fighting after a U.S.-Iran agreement aimed at reducing wider regional hostilities. However, sporadic attacks have continued, including an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon that killed one person.
Humanitarian conditions remain difficult, with displaced families facing loss of shelter, income and access to basic services. Aid workers have warned that renewed strikes could further damage civilian infrastructure and prolong the crisis.
Diplomatic efforts are continuing to prevent the conflict from widening and to stabilize the ceasefire, while Lebanese authorities continue to update casualty figures as attacks and rescue operations unfold.
