Thousands of Shia Muslims in Parachinar, Pakistan, participated in a symbolic funeral procession commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), honoring the memory of the Seal of the Prophets and the Prophet of mercy.

The mourning ceremony was held at the Imam Bargah Central Mosque in Parachinar, where a large gathering of believers attended religious programs and listened to sermons by scholars and speakers who highlighted the virtues of the Prophet, his struggles in conveying the message of Islam, and the sacrifices he made throughout his mission.

Speakers also addressed the challenges faced by the Muslim community following the Prophet’s passing and reflected on the lessons and values derived from his noble life and teachings.

Following the gathering, participants carried a symbolic coffin in a solemn procession through the city, accompanied by expressions of grief and mourning. The main mourning areas witnessed a large presence of attendees who commemorated the loss of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and remembered the hardships endured by his Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) after his departure.

The ceremony also included the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) and Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him), whose remembrance coincides with the sorrowful days marking the Prophet’s martyrdom.
