The Al-Askari Holy Shrine in Samarra announced that more than four million pilgrims participated in ceremonies marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Askari (peace be upon him). The commemoration drew visitors from across Iraq and beyond.

According to Iraq’s official news agency (INA), the Federal Police deployed in Samarra reported the success of a special security plan implemented for the occasion, ensuring the safety of pilgrims throughout the events.
