The FreeMuslim Association, a global anti-violence organization, has urged governments and international bodies to prioritize the rights of terrorism victims, marking the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to Victims of Terrorism.

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the organization stressed that victims are entitled to justice through legal accountability for perpetrators, as well as fair compensation for both material and psychological damages.

It also emphasized the importance of providing psychological and social support to help survivors recover and reintegrate into society. The statement further underlined victims’ right to protection and to be safeguarded from marginalization or political exploitation.

The organization called for fostering a culture of peace, tolerance, and nonviolence as key measures to counter extremist ideologies fueling terrorism, noting that security cannot be achieved by military means alone. The group reaffirmed its commitment to working with governments and international institutions to ensure victims receive recognition, care, and adequate support.
