Scotland-based Ahlulbayt Association celebrates Eid al-Adha with prayer and community gathering
The Ahlulbayt Association in Glasgow, Scotland, marked Eid al-Adha with a congregational prayer and community program attended by Iraqi, Lebanese, Gulf, and other Muslim community members.
The Eid prayer was led by Sayyed Mohammad Al-Hakeem, who delivered a sermon emphasizing piety, good conduct, and the spiritual importance of religious occasions such as Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Ghadeer.
The event included a dedicated women’s area to encourage broad participation and featured a collective recitation of the Ziyarat of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), a highly recommended act on this holy day.
Attendees exchanged greetings and later shared a communal breakfast, reflecting a spirit of unity and devotion to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and his family, peace be upon them. The gathering fostered spiritual reflection and strengthened community bonds.
