Grand Ayatullah Shirazi’s Mission Continues Activities in Medina, Meeting with Religious Authorities’ Missions, Iraqi Pilgrims
The religious Hajj mission of His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, is continuing its intensive activities in Medina during the blessed Hajj season of 1446 AH. This involves a series of meetings and visits aimed at strengthening cooperation and providing cultural and religious services to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God.
In this context, a delegation from the mission visited a number of missions of prominent Maraja’ al-Taqlid (sources of emulation), including the mission of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani. The delegation met with Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Sayyid Jawad al-Shahristani and several members of the mission, where discussions took place regarding coordinating joint efforts to serve the pilgrims.
The delegation also visited the mission of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi, the mission of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Taqi al-Modarresi, and the mission of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Shams al-Din al-Wa’idhi. Discussions at these meetings focused on Hajj issues, the religious and cultural services provided, and ways to support communication between the Maraja’ missions to serve the guests of Allah, the Gracious.
On another front, members of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi’s mission met with a number of Iraqi pilgrim convoys in Medina. They conveyed the greetings and prayers of the Marja’iyya and offered spiritual and ethical guidance to benefit from the atmosphere of faith. A session for commemorating the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) was also held on the sidelines of these meetings.
The Shirazi Marja’iyya mission continues to offer daily educational and cultural programs for the esteemed pilgrims, as part of its religious and humanitarian message aimed at promoting religious awareness and the spirit of brotherhood among Muslims during this great season.
