UK-based Aziz Foundation Celebrates 10 Years of Helping British Muslims

UK-based Aziz Foundation has recently celebrated 10 years of providing academic and inspirational support to British Muslims, Islam Channel reported.

The Aziz Foundation, established in 2015 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Asif Aziz, has empowered British Muslims to overcome societal barriers and achieve leadership positions.

Guided by Islamic values and teachings, the foundation focuses on providing scholarships and strategic grants across community work, arts, culture, and research sectors.

Between 2021-23, 188 scholarships were awarded through the Aziz Foundation and 50 partner universities.

Around 45% of recipients were first-generation university students, and 40% came from households earning less than £20,000 annually.
