Saudi Red Crescent Authority Calls for Volunteers Ahead of Hajj Season

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has launched its volunteer registration for the upcoming Hajj season, aiming to enhance community participation in humanitarian efforts, Arab News reported. The initiative invites volunteers to join one of four specialized tracks, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The paramedic track focuses on providing emergency first aid and rescue services until specialized medical teams arrive. The humanitarian track involves assisting pilgrims by distributing snacks, water, and offering guidance. Volunteers with creative talents can participate in the media track, documenting activities through photography, videography, and editing. The logistics track supports operational needs by managing the distribution, transportation, and storage of essential supplies and equipment.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority encourages individuals to register via its volunteer platform, highlighting volunteering as a meaningful opportunity to develop skills, contribute to life-saving missions, and support the wider community during one of the world’s largest religious gatherings. This effort continues the authority’s commitment to promoting volunteerism and enhancing humanitarian service during Hajj.
