Prophet’s Mosque Welcomes Nearly 10 Million Worshippers in the First 10 Days of Ramadan

The Prophet’s Mosque in Medina has recorded over 9.7 million worshippers during the first ten days of Ramadan this year, Iqna reported. Worshippers gathered to perform prayers in the mosque, including its roof and courtyards.

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in coordination with relevant authorities, has successfully implemented extensive preparations to manage the large influx of visitors. They provided high-quality services and ensured smooth visitor flow through monitoring systems throughout the mosque.

Hundreds of thousands participated in iftar meals and attended prayers during the nights of Ramadan at this sacred site. Carpets have been laid across the courtyards and expansions to accommodate the significant number of worshippers, along with essential services such as the provision of Zamzam water.
