48th Baghdad International Fair kicks off with participation of 20 countries

The 48th edition of the Baghdad International Fair officially opened on Saturday, featuring participation from 20 countries and over 1,000 local and international companies. The event highlights Iraq’s growing ability to attract investments and strengthen trade and cultural exchange.

Minister of Trade Atheer Dawood Al-Ghurairi announced that all preparations for the fair had been completed, emphasizing that this year’s edition stands out due to its diversity and extensive participation. Held under the theme “Investment – Development – Prosperity,” the fair will run until February 7, hosting companies from various economic sectors.

This year’s event serves as a key platform for foreign investors, providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and explore economic prospects across multiple fields. Al-Ghurairi noted that this edition will be distinct from previous ones, featuring a wide range of economic, cultural, and artistic activities.
