Lebanese MP lauds Iraq’s humanitarian support to Lebanese people
Lebanese MP Hassan Ezz El-Din expressed gratitude to Iraq, its government, and its people for their continued support to Lebanon, particularly in hosting Lebanese guests and providing assistance.
Speaking to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Ezz El-Din highlighted Iraq’s role, saying, “Iraq is always the first to extend a helping hand to the Lebanese people.”
The Lebanese MP also condemned the crimes committed by the Israeli aggression, including the destruction of Lebanon’s infrastructure during the war, and stressed the importance of monitoring ceasefire violations.
On Lebanon’s political front, he confirmed that the presidential election session is scheduled for January 9, emphasizing the need for political and security stability to facilitate the election.
