Shia Muslims worldwide prepare to celebrate Sayyeda Zainab’s birth anniversary
Shia Muslims around the world are preparing to mark the blessed anniversary of the birth of Sayyeda Zainab, Imam Ali’s daughter, (peace be upon them) on the 5th of Jumada al-Awwal.
The shrine of Sayyeda Zainab in Damascus, Syria, as well as major Shia holy sites in Iraq and Iran, will witness large gatherings of visitors to honor this blessed occasion.
The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has also begun preparations for the auspicious event, with decorations, banners, and fresh flowers adorning the sacred site.
Visitors from Syria and other countries are expected to attend, to commemorate Sayyeda Zainab’s legacy and her support for her brother Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, in his historic stand.
This occasion holds great significance for Shia Muslims, serving as a time to reflect on her sacrifices and steadfast character.
