Japanese diplomat expresses admiration for Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain

The Japanese Cultural Attaché in Iraq, Mitsunori Mikawa, expressed his deep happiness during his visit to the shrine of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, in the holy city of Karbala, noting that he was astonished by the grandeur of the place and its rich history.

In a statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, Mikawa said that he felt an unforgettable spiritual atmosphere during his visit to the sacred shrine, expressing his great admiration for the sanctity of the place and the profound cultural and religious significance it holds.

“I am very happy with the tour I had in the courtyard of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, and I was astonished by the place and its history,” Mikawa said.

The Japanese diplomat’s visit is part of efforts to strengthen cultural relations between the two countries and reflects international interest in Iraq’s religious and historical landmarks, particularly those related to the heritage of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
