Baku to hosts Int’l Halal Trade and Tourism Conference and Exhibition

The capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, will host the International Halal Trade and Tourism Conference and Exhibition on October 8 and 9, with participation from 20 countries.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan announced the organization of this significant event, which aims to enhance commercial and investment partnerships, as well as facilitate the exchange of ideas and experiences among participating nations, focusing on encouraging foreign investment in halal trade and tourism sectors.

The conference will feature several sections covering various fields, including food, tourism, and finance, with the goal of establishing unified standards in the halal products and services sector. It will also include panel discussions that bring together experts and entrepreneurs from official organizations and companies from 20 countries around the world.

The event is organized in collaboration with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and the State Tourism Agency, with support from international organizations such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the International Islamic Business Association, and several related institutions. This enhances the significance of the event as an international platform for developing the halal economy and expanding its global impact.
