Australia-based Mosque and Hussainiya of Ale-Yaseen commemorates Muhsiniya Mourning Period
The Mosque and Hussainiya of Ale-Yaseen, one of the centres affiliated to the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Sydney, Australia, have begun commemorating the Muhsiniya Mourning Days, an event that marks the tragic attack on the house of Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra, peace be upon her, and the martyrdom of her son, al-Muhsin ibn Ali, peace be upon them.
The mourning organizers told Shia Waves Agency that the events began after the Maghrib and Isha prayers, followed by Quran recitation sessions, the recitation of the sacred Ziyarat Ashura, and a religious lecture, emphasizing that a large number of believers attended the mourning ceremony.
It should be mentioned that the Grand Marja has repeatedly emphasized the importance of commemorating this painful tragedy, considering it an expression of loyalty to Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and a disassociation from their enemies.
