Residence of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi holds mourning assembly for martyrdom of Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon him)

During the period marking the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Taqi (peace be upon him), the Residence of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Hosseini al-Shirazi in the holy city of Qom held commemorative Majalis in honour of the ninth Imam of the Shiites and the Creation.

In this illuminating assembly, which was attended by religious scholars, seminary students, religious and cultural personalities, and the general public of believers, Hujjat al-Islam Fatahi, Hujjat al-Islam Haeri Qazvini and Hujjat al-Islam Sharifani gave speeches on the life and history of Imam al-Jawad, peace be upon him, and the sufferings of Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them.

As the conclusion of the session, the attendees offered prayers for hastening in the reappearance of the Imam of the Time, and the resolution of the problems of Shiites all over the world.
