Muslims launch campaign to distribute copies of Holy Quran in London
A team of British Muslims launched a campaign to distribute copies of the Holy Quran in English in London. The initiative was launched to introduce the British community to the Holy Quran and the teachings of Islam, with the hope to disseminate the message of Islam on a wider social scale.
The team, whose members spread across London, raised large banners all over the capital indicating Islamic teachings about patience and death.
The campaign aims at allowing Britons to learn about the Islamic religion and obtain a free copy of the Holy Quran translated into English.
Campaign members emphasized that there is a desire to learn more about the Islamic religion after the events in Gaza, and this is why the campaign has been launched.
They pointed out that “many people have misconceptions about the facts of Islam, and we can help them correct these misconceptions, speaking to them about the philosophy of hijab and allowing women to experience wearing the hijab.”
