Germany: Shia Community in Nuremberg celebrate opening of al-Zahra Hussainiya and Center
The Shia community in Nuremberg, Germany celebrated the opening of al-Zahra Center and Hussainiya in the city, which they consider an important event for spreading the knowledge and culture of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, and commemorating their holy rituals.
The opening of the center and Hussainiya coincided with the blessed occasion of the birthday anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon him.
According to media reports, a large number of Shia Muslims residing in Nuremberg, as well as local citizens, attended the opening ceremony of the Hussainiya, which was constructed by efforts and assistance of the Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The attendees emphasized the importance of establishing religious centers and Hussainiyas to host honorable Shia gatherings in the commemoration of the holy events of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
They also noted that raising a new generation of Shia Muslims born in the country requires the establishment of such blessed religious, cultural, and Hussaini centers to strengthen their connection to their pure Imams, peace be upon them, and their authentic Shia sect.
The new center and Hussainiya will witness congregational prayers, mourning gatherings, especially during the months of sorrow, Muharram and Safar.
