Two Shia Muslims released after enforced disappearance for years

The birth anniversary of Imam Mehdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance, has brought good news for many in Pakistan as two innocent Shia Muslims were released from illegal and undeclared captivity. The second good news was successful and result-oriented protest held in Quetta against Shia genocide and Army Chief accepted the demands of protesters.

Waqar Haider hailing from Chiniot and Ishrat Abbas belonging to Karachi had been detained years ago. The Advocate Tasawwur Rizvi of Jafaria Legal Aid had waged legal battle for their secure release and his efforts bore fruit.

Flanked by Mr. Rizvi, they visited Husseiniyat Martyrs of Karbala in Karachi and held prayers for gratitude to God Almighty over their release. They said it was blessed month of Shabaan and it was the birth anniversary of Imam Zaman that also blessed them with release from illegal an undeclared detention or so-called enforced disappearance.
