At least five ISIS militants including a shadow judge of the terror group have been killed in the latest operations of the Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The provincial government media office in a statement said the militants were killed during the operations conducted in the past 24 hours in Khogyani district.
The statement further added that the operations are being conducted as part of the Silab-4 and 9 operations to eliminate the militants of the terror group from Nangarhar.
In the same context, a prominent Taliban leader who was in the wanted list of the Afghan security forces since a long time has been killed during the clashes with the Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces in eastern Laghman province.
The provincial government media office in a statement said the senior Taliban leader Farhad who was also famous as Badar was killed in Mehtarlam city late on Monday night.
