Watford Shias commemorate the honorable birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon them)
The Shia community in the city of Watford, England, revived the auspicious birth anniversary of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) and his grandson Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), renewing the pledge of loyalty in support of the causes of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and the true Shia doctrine.
Several centers and Husseiniyahs, including the Al-Zahra Center, witnessed the establishment of special programs including Quranic and poetic evenings, religious invocations, and lectures to commemorate the occasion.
The Shias of the city, the majority of whom are from the Iraqi, Lebanese, Yemeni and Indian communities, were keen to actively attend and participate in the joyful festivals and celebrations held to commemorate the honorable occasion.
The Al-Zahra Center, according to what was reported by Shia Waves News Agency, implemented the idea of erecting a “golden grille” inside the Husseiniyah affiliated to it, to symbolize the holy shrines of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).
The participants expressed their great happiness on the joyous days, stressing that “this occasion spread joy and goodness in the whole world with the blessing of the Prophet of Mercy (peace be upon him and his progeny).”
