Free Muslim releases message on Int’l Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances
On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, the Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim) has called on all human rights organizations to increase efforts and pressures to reveal the fate of those forcibly disappeared.
In its message released today, 30th August, viewed by Shia Waves Agency, the Free Muslim said that “It stands in solidarity with the victims of enforced disappearances and calls on all human rights organizations and bodies to double their efforts to reveal the of the disappeared victims and to give rights to their families.”
The Organization said added that “The Enforced disappearance is one of the ugliest and cruelest crimes committed by groups, individuals or ruling regimes against innocent civilians,” noting that “Such acts violate human rights protected by the divine laws and worldly norms and laws.”
It elaborated that “Hundreds of Iraqi Yazidi and Shia women as well as children are still missing following the invasion of regions by ISIS.”
