Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein levels entrances to Shrine for mourning ritual
These days, with the beginning of the month of Muharram, the people of Karbala and other Iraqi cities, along with pilgrims from different cities, have convened in Karbala in order to participate in the mourning ceremonies of Aba Abdullah al-Hussein, peace be upon him. The staff of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and Abalfazl al-Abbas, peace be upon them, are making all efforts to provide comfort for the pilgrims.
For this purpose, Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has started extensive activities to remove the shortcomings and problems faced by pilgrims and mourners in the month of Muharram, especially the Night and Day of Ashura, as well as the ritual of blood and sword (Tatbir).
In this regard, the technical departments related to Imam Hussein Holy Shrine are continuously using sand to level the roads leading to the Holy Shrines, as well as passages of pilgrims and various Mawakib and Tuwairij processions, especially around the entrances of the Shrine. All these efforts are being made to ensure the proper conduct of mourning ceremonies, particularly the Tatbir.
