Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation begins constructing school in Herat, Afghanistan

The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, in cooperation with Imam Hussein Charity (IHC), has begun to construct a school in the city of Herat in Afghanistan, to enable hundreds of Shia children to carry on their education.

The school administration said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency that, “The school was opened in the past months, but it contained small camps where 350 students used to be taught.”

It added that, “The construction work begun following donations from the faithf benefactors and and legal taxes paid by Muslims.”

It should be mentioned that such humanitarian projects are encouraged and recommended by the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi.
