Secretariat-General of Kufa Mosque recalls scientific roles of al-Muhaqqiq Āqā Buzurg al-Tihrānī
The Secretariat-General of the Kufa Mosque in Holy Najaf has recalled the scientific roles and the religious and cultural efforts of the great Shia scholar, al-Muhaqqiq Sheikh Āqā Buzurg al-Tihrānī, the author of the well-known book, Al-Dhari’a ila tasanif al-Shi’a.
The Kufa Mosque held its special conference to revive the 53rd death anniversary of this great scholar under the slogan “Ayatollah al-Muhaqqiq Sheikh Āqā Buzurg al-Tihrānī, The Genius of History and the School of Giving”.
Dignitaries, Hawza instructors, scholars, academics and other people interested in cultural and scientific heritage attended the conference, witnessed a number of activities that shed light on the Ayatollah Al-Tahrani’s efforts and roles in service of AhlulBayt, peace be upon them.
The head of the Intellectual Affairs Department, Ahmed Muhyiddin, said that, “Ayatollah al-Muhaqqiq Al-Tahrani spent 70 years of his life studying and writing on the Islamic culture.”
