An Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon has resulted in the martyrdom of at least 10 people, including an infant, amid renewed military escalation along the Lebanon-Israel border and continued concerns over the security situation in the region.

The attack targeted the town of Kfar Reman in Nabatieh province, where rescue teams searched the targeted site following the strike. Local sources reported that civilians were among the martyrs, while others were injured and some people remained missing.

A separate Israeli strike on the town of Arab Salim also resulted in the martyrdom of at least seven people and injuries to others. Additional Israeli raids were reported in several areas of southern Lebanon, with the Israeli military claiming that the operations targeted Hezbollah-related sites.

Lebanese officials condemned the attacks, describing them as a dangerous escalation and a threat to efforts aimed at maintaining the ceasefire. They called for international intervention to protect civilians and prevent further violations.

The latest strikes come amid continued tensions in southern Lebanon, where military operations and exchanges of fire have persisted despite ceasefire efforts. The attacks have increased concerns over the safety of civilians and the humanitarian consequences for communities affected by the ongoing instability.
