Lebanese Health Ministry: 3,558 Martyred in Israeli Bombardment Since March 2

The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,558 martyred and 10,870 wounded, after 32 deaths and 137 injuries were recorded over the past 24 hours.

The ministry’s latest figures indicate that 32 people were killed and 137 others injured within the last 24 hours. The previous toll, announced on Thursday, stood at 3,526 killed and 10,733 wounded.

Israeli attacks on towns in southern Lebanon have continued to escalate daily, in violation of the fragile ceasefire that has been in effect since April 17, which Washington announced had been extended until early July.

Israel continues to occupy areas in southern Lebanon, some for decades and others since the previous war between 2023 and 2024. During the current assault, Israeli forces advanced more than 10 kilometers into Lebanese territory, marking the deepest incursion since Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in 2000.

Israel also occupies Palestinian and Syrian territories and continues to reject withdrawal and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
