Grand Ayatullah Shirazi: Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq’s Message is “Life Map” for Shiites

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi (may God prolong his life), emphasized the importance of reflecting on the message of Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) addressed to his followers, noting that it provides clear guidance for organizing and improving the lives of believers.
He said that the first principle called for by Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) is for a person to turn toward God Almighty in all circumstances.
His Eminence added that the “message of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) to the Shiites” is rich in meanings that must be deeply understood, describing it as a “life map” that can significantly transform individuals’ lives if taken seriously. He stressed the need for Shiites to adhere to it and study its meanings to benefit from its teachings.
He also highlighted the importance of qualities such as calmness, dignity, and composure, describing them as interconnected traits that help individuals overcome life’s difficulties. These qualities, he said, strengthen moral integrity and support psychological and physical balance, emphasizing that continuous practice is essential to acquiring them.
The Supreme Marja concluded by urging Shiites to carefully study the message of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in order to apply its teachings in daily life and achieve success in their personal and spiritual journey.
