Holy Shrines Witness Spiritual Gatherings: Qur’an Recitations, Iftar Meals for Fasting Worshippers
———————————–
With the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Holy Shrines of the Infallible Imams in Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimiya, and Samarra have begun hosting special religious programs marking the occasion.

According to Shia Waves Agency, daily Qur’an recitation sessions (juz’ recitations) are being held in the courtyards and prayer halls of the holy shrines throughout Ramadan. These programs include tartil recitations of the Holy Qur’an, along with supplication gatherings and devotional ceremonies attended by large numbers of worshippers and pilgrims.

In parallel with the religious activities, communal iftar meals are being organized for fasting visitors. Long tables and hospitality spreads have been set up to provide meals at sunset, while charitable food offerings and daily distributions are being made to pilgrims and people in need.

These Ramadan programs aim to enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the holy sites and support both visitors and local communities, reflecting longstanding traditions of worship, charity, and hospitality during the sacred month.
