With the start of the holy month of Rajab, the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, in collaboration with the Mustafa Cultural and Charitable Foundation, launched the fifth phase of its medical aid project for the poor and needy.

The initiative, part of a broader multi-phase program supervised by the Shirazi office, aims to alleviate the hardships faced by disadvantaged families and vulnerable groups amid the country’s difficult living conditions. During this phase, significant quantities of medical and food supplies were distributed, including essential groceries, medications, and wound care treatments, reaching a wide number of underprivileged families and sick children.

The Mustafa Foundation confirmed that the project will continue in upcoming phases, with plans to expand its reach to benefit more recipients. The foundation also encouraged philanthropists and donors to support the initiative, ensuring its sustainability and further development to assist those most in need.
