The programs feature lectures in Arabic by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Montazer Malallah and in English by Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Mohammed Qazwini. Ahmad al-Khaqani is leading the mourning recitations. These ceremonies are witnessing significant participation from Shia Muslims and devotees of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

Meanwhile, in Bahrain, the Ma’tam al-Sakin Husseiniya hosted fervent mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) during the first decade of Muharram. These events saw enthusiastic participation from Bahraini Shia Muslims and were supervised by Hujjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen Sheikh Abdul Shahid Al-Satrawi, a representative of the Marja’iya. The mourning rituals, which began at the start of Muharram, continued for thirteen nights, with attendees benefiting from the speeches delivered by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammed Ali Mahfouz.
