Palestine calls for International stand against Israeli excavations beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned on Sunday the continuous Israeli occupiers’ excavations beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
The ministry said in a statement that these drillings targeting the foundations of Al-Aqsa Mosque aim at reshaping its features above the ground, which pose a threat to Al-Aqsa, especially the mosque located under Al-Qibli prayer hall, whose pillars have fallen off.
It also condemned the Israeli authorities’ refusal to respond to the Palestinian queries over those excavations around the perimeter of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Furthermore, the ministry said that these operations considered a part of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque with the aim of changing its historical and legal structure.
