Malnutrition, dehydration at Gaza hospital claims lives of at least 15 children amid relentless Israeli strikes
At least 15 children have succumbed to death over the past few days from malnutrition and dehydration at Gaza’s Kamal Adwan hospital, Reuters reported yesterday.
“We fear for the lives of 6 (other) children suffering from malnutrition and diarrhea at the hospital’s intensive care unit as a result of the cessation of the electric generator and oxygen and the weakness of medical capabilities,” health ministry in Gaza said in a statement.
Israel’s violence rages on showing no respect even for the deceased.
On Sunday, Israeli warplanes targeted a “makeshift cemetery” built by residents of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, causing the bodies of Palestinians recently killed by Israeli forces to emerge.
At least 112 Palestinians waiting for food aid were killed and 760 wounded after being shot at by Israeli forces in Gaza last week.
The Israel war in Gaza has killed 30,410 people and injured 71,700 others, resulting in mass destruction and shortages of necessities.
