Hindu extremist leaders call for extermination of Muslims in India

Hindu extremist leaders have called for the extermination of Muslims in India, sparking widespread outrage and a backlash.
The publication of photos of a three-day meeting of leaders of Hindu extremist groups focused on the ethnic cleansing of India’s minorities, particularly the country’s 200 million Muslims, sparked outrage on social media.
“The economic boycott will not work, Hindu groups must prepare themselves, and those with better weapons will win the battle against Muslims,” TRT quoted the summit’s spokesperson and member of the Hindu movement, Yati Narsinganand, as saying.
Sadhu Annapurna, the general secretary of the Mahasabha party, called for the genocide of Muslims, adding, “Nothing is possible without weapons.”
They took up the widespread crimes against the Rohingya Muslims in 2017 and their forced departure from Myanmar as examples, and called for a similar policy to allow for the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in India.
