3 former Afghan Air Force members killed in plane crash in US

American authorities have announced that three former members of the Afghan Air Force were killed in a training aircraft crash in Oregon, USA.

The three were identified as Ali Jan Ferdawsi, Mohammad Bashir Safdari, and Seyed Mohammad Hussain Musawi. They were flying a training plane on Saturday, December 16, when due to heavy fog, their plane collided with power transmission lines and crashed.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash to shed light on all aspects of the accident.

Officials of an immigrant support network said that these three pilots of the former Afghan army had immigrated to the US after the collapse of the republican system and the re-domination of the Taliban group.
