US police arrest journalist who asked about America’s crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan
US police have arrested US journalist Tyler Hansen after he asked former National Security Agency assistant John Bolton about US war crimes in Afghanistan and weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
“Mr. Bolton, how do you expect us to trust you, and you’re lying about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, basically what you did was to exterminate the Iraqi people, and you covered up the American war crimes in Afghanistan,” the journalist said, before being kicked out of the room.
“Why are you celebrating the arrest of Julian Assange (WikiLeaks founder), is it okay to celebrate war crimes?”, Hansen added. Bolton replied sarcastically: “Another example of the First Amendment in action.”
