The statement added, “Reports confirmed that the British government issued permits to sell weapons and equipment, including smoke bombs, tear gas, rubber bullets and other equipment used to suppress the demonstrators to about 25 countries.”

The report continued, “A report in The Independent indicated that the equipment and weapons were exported to countries that use violence with citizens, including: Egypt, UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Sultanate of Brunei and Bahrain, all of which violate human rights.”

The organization stressed the need for the United Kingdom to review its policies regarding this matter that violates democratic standards and grossly violates human rights, and undoubtedly causes deaths and injuries among civilians, calling on all humanitarian and human rights organizations to condemn this action.
