World Health Organization: Coronavirus is spreading at an accelerated pace

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus, has announced an accelerated spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus, has announced an accelerated spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press statement, the Director-General said that more than 300,000 cases have been reported from almost every country in the world.

Ghebreysus called for the necessity of taking effective measures against the pandemic, without only taking preventive steps alone, explaining that “social separation and staying at home are defensive measures against the coronavirus pandemic, but we must attack.”
