Mourning ceremonies conclude with commemorating the tragic martyrdom of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him, at Al Yasin Mosque and Husseiniyah in Sydney


The Al Yasin Mosque and Husseiniyah in the Australian capital, Sydney, concluded the mourning ceremonies for the month of Safar by reviving a mourning ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him, attended by the Shia communities in the country.
Those in charge of the mosque, who are followers of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Shirazi, said, “The lovers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, attended a mourning ceremony held on the tragic commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Redh and Imam al-Hassan, peace be upon them.
The organizers added that “Religious lectures in Arabic and English were delivered in the ceremonies to commemorate these great occasions and to introduce the magnitude of the injustice that the Noble Prophet and his pure family, peace be upon them, were subjected to.”
The organizers indicated that that mosque witnessed a wide participation of the Shia communities, who expressed their great lamentation on the occasions in the month of Safar,” noting that “the mourning ceremonies were concluded with the revival of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him.
