The Holy Samarra Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) announced, on Thursday, the seizure of weapons and ammunition belonging to ISIS terrorist organization, southwest of the city of Samarra.

A statement by the Command stated that accurate intelligence information had been received by the 314th Brigade that there was a stockpile of weapons and ammunition belonging to ISIS in the Zorat Al-Bogroob area southwest of the city of Samarra.

The statement added that the Command directed the heroes of the 314th Brigade with search and inspection operations, where light and medium weapons and 81-mm mortars were seized, in addition to a variety of equipment used in the implementation of terrorist operations against the security forces and citizens.
