The representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq, Adham Ismail, stressed the absence of the possibility of the spread of the coronavirus during the next summer in Iraq, indicating that Iraq has all the necessary equipment to examine those with the coronavirus.
Ismail said in a televised statement, “The virus is the same as any other influenza, its risk decreases with increasing temperatures, but the temperature needs to rise for two months.”
Ismail added, “Iraq possesses all the necessary equipment to examine those infected with coronavirus at airports and border crossings after the organization provided it with necessary.”
He explained, “Iraq has responded in an ideal and excellent manner in dealing with the virus and succeeded in evacuating Iraqi students in Wuhan very quickly.”
