The officials said that an air strike in the “Marjah” in Helmand province killed two militants of the group.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the airstrikes also destroyed vehicles and weapons belonging to the terrorist group.
The Taliban have yet to comment on the air strikes.
