The Abbas Youth Committee in the Husseiniyah of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden, held a mourning ceremony on the demise anniversary of Lady Umm al-Baneen, peace be upon her, in the presence of a large number of the Shia community.
Ahlulbayt followers in Sweden expressed their deep sadness and condolences on this painful event, recalling the difficult situations experienced by the Lady and what she offered in the service of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The Committee also held Quran sessions for two consecutive days, while meals were prepared and distributed to the attendees in honor of Um al-Baneen, peace be upon her.
The Abbas Youth Committee said in a statement, that it “seeks to allocate a room for Zainabiyya women to participate in the revival of the Husseini rituals and to hold mourning ceremonies for the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
